THE V65 IS '86 OR OLDER... AWSOME BIKE, BUT I'VE READ THEY HAVE SOME SERIOUS PROB WITH CAM LUBRICATION

Cams would wear down and the replacement would last 1/2 as long... they were great bikes though, I had the Sabre V65, so much power it was insane.  Still trying to get used to the little 750cc I have now - in comparison it is little anyways.

But if i'm not mistaken the v65 had a 1200 engine it was the v45 that had a 700+something engine... that v65 was the fastest cruiser bike of it's time...and i believe was overthrown by the VMAX

The V45 was a 750, the V65 was an 1100 V4.  The V65 was rated at 121 HP, DOHC with 4x4 valves, 6 speed tranny.  The thing was absolutely insane and I miss her greatly.  Also a standard but I did some customizations on the handlebars and paint.
