I finally figured out how to rig up my camera to my bike. So here is a video of me riding around the Lafayette area during labor day weekend. Enjoy.

Nice ride. The tunes scared me. Aerosmith scared my parents, so I understand.

Gray / silver is not a bad color....a little red would set it off.

Nice bike, nice video.

I'm with hockeyhawk......thought that mini-van was going to pull out in front of you!!

Am I the only one that's anal about having a bunch of extra keys and stuff scratching areas around the ignition switch? Seems like I see that alot.

+1 on the video and bike compliments.   claps

Lafayette looks like it has some nice rural routes available.  I love riding the quiet back roads.   ricky

Also a +1 on Brittles comments about the keys.  My bike key is separate from all my other keys to protect the aluminum instrument faceplate on the 550.

Ride safe cjbear11.

Thanks for the ride! Excellent editing work

I like the black stripe on the tank!! For some reason I've always liked that look. I'm thinking of maybe painting mine this winter, and yours is an inspiration (along with some others here).

I saw the corner of a toe in sandal as you were starting the bike up. I'm SURE you had boots on for the ride, right!?  bugey smiler

That was a cool video, thanks for sharing.   I like the rural road rides the best.  Your bike is in great shape too.

Please tell me you weren't riding in the sandals that you were wearing at the begining during the walk around.

Otherwise, nice job. Looks like a pretty good route you got there. That'll be a nice run when the colors change.

Thanks for the compliments on the vid and the bike everyone! I love my NH!

No I was not riding in sandals, or shorts for that matter. I'm in full gear all the time. The video was actually made up of about 3 different videos. You saw the sandals when I was just relaxing at my parents house, and decided a walk around the bike would be cool.

I have my bike key separate from all my other keys. I only have a leather "Honda" key fob thing, and a metal clip with it so I can clip it to my belt loop. No extra stuff. The metal clip rattles around though and drives me nuts.

Lafayette has virtually no good places to ride, unless you know where to look. This part of Indiana is really, really flat. I've lived here all of my life, so I know a few good spots to ride. I really like the road in the video because it's mostly quiet, and follows a nice little creek. Lot's of blind turns though, so you can't push it that hard.

Lol, actually she wasn't even supposed to stop. There is no stop sign where she was. She waved me through, so I went. HAHA!

My g/f usually operates the camera on rides, but I wanted to take some good video on my own. I zip tied the camera to the top of my clutch master cylinder for this ride. It held up pretty well I think. Only moved once when I hit a bump hard. The road in the video is different from what I took you on. You and I rode the better roads when you were here last. I'll take you on this road, and some others, when you're here next! Glad you enjoyed the video man!
