I crashed in Joe Rocket gloves. They came apart like paper mache and I got some rash on my hands. Now I'm reluctant to consider them...
But that jacket looks like VERY good quality, I like the way that fits around the waist! Checking it out....

That is a great price. I bought my J/R Honda jacket at Newenough for $49.00 and thought I got a good deal. As HH says, other than the patches, I don't see any difference between this jacket, mine, or the $160.00 one at my local honda shop.

Not bad, but it's not yellow I have my Matching Cortech GX sport and GX air. Got both from New Enough. Great prices and great service, can't beat the combination.

That reflective material is awesome. I have a friend with a black one. I always wondered by he wore a dark color until I rode behind him one day. I'm still holding on to an old one. It's kaw green though. Are there any moral laws against that?

I just bought one. I wasn't too crazy about the color but for the price, you can't beat it. I will say that some of the patches are definately coming off though. I just need to get some new gloves and a new helmet.

Mine won't be here until the 16th. I thought the shipping would have been faster but, no big deal. I ended up ordering a Technic riding jacket for my wife for Valentines day too. Its got all the vents and armor and has a zip out liner too. Not bad for 49.99. I think I found my new site for ordering cycle gear.

Other than your link, I looked around the site a little and couldn't find the jacket. How do you find the smokin good deals? I could use some non MX riding boots.

Anyone that's got the jacket, can you post a pic of it on you? Maybe I'll like the looks of it better. What size fits? Thanks!

I got the cool blue one in the first post. Love it! I'll post a pic of it on me ( XL ) soon. Thinking about the Baja gloves ( also close-out ) in blue to match it in summer. 18 bucks for gloves with pads? How can I go wrong? I like the cut of the jacket so well.... NOW, I want the black leather SuperHawk they've got in closeouts too!

I could go nuts and spend alot of money at that place. I'm looking at new helmets and gloves there now. I've searched alot of sites but the closeout at Newenough is by far the cheapest.

JB - FWIW, I've just purchased the Fulmer M1 modular helmet and I really like it. If you wear glasses, consider it.

Thanks hp. I do wear glasses so, I have to take that into consideration when buying a new lid. Did you get yours at newenough or someplace else?

Well, I did it too. I have to admit, the color is concerning me a little bit, but for $40.....What the heck. If I hate it, i'll return it. I just hope I made the right sizing decision. For a couple bucks more, I could have just got both of them shipped to me.
Now that i'm thinking about it, the brightness of the jacket can only be a benefit for a new rider like myself.....

Anyone know if these jackets are warm with the liner in? Only other jacket I have is a summer jacket. I'm 6'3", 200lbs and usually wear XL but my riding jacket fits good in L. How do these compare? (waiting for a more real outdoor pic) ;)

So, I know I ain't pretty... but it's me in the new jacket. This is an "XL" I'm 6' tall nd 210 lbs.. which is clearly 20 lbs too much... this jacket is snug - the way I like this kind of cut. NO it's not that warm even with the liner in. It's a summer/spring jacket. Nice and cool with the liner out and the vents open. And that's why I bought it... so I'd wear something bright, with armor even when it's hot enough to just be in T-shirt. I don't think I'd wear it if its less than 50 deg F out.

Did you get yours at newenough or someplace else? JB - N/E was the cheapest from the Internet, but my neighbor, the bike dealer, made me a deal - I'm sworn not to share what I paid, but it was stupid cheap (the profit margin in gear is incredible). Focusplayer - I have the same jacket and we are the same size. The blue doesn't match my RWB bike perfectly, but it looks OK IMO. 50 deg. is pushing it. Below 70 and I have to wear the liner. Below 60 and I have to wear a lot of cloths underneath. I rode 100 miles on Saturday in sunny 48-50 and froze my a$$ off. At any rate, it's still a great buy. I've had my jacket for about 6 months - no problems so far.
