Got my jacket today... finally! It is sweet. I was wearing it around the house......which positively did not help my cabin fever. I might take it a step further and get completely suited up and just go sit on the bike. Maybe make vroom vroom noises.

I wore my new black leather superhawk today. Gotta break it in right?? But it was wet and cold today so I was IN my Honda CRV rather than ON my NH... However, I LOVE the jacket. Softer than I expected, and ... it gets looks. As I am NOT pretty.. I know it was the jacket getting the attention.

Speaking of breaking in.....these jacket will get a little looser right? I've been wearing mine around the house, wrestling with the dogs on the floor, etc. Still feels kind of stiff. I've never owned one of these before, do they stay like this or does it take a little bit?

Other than your link, I looked around the site a little and couldn't find the jacket. How do you find the smokin good deals? I could use some non MX riding boots.

I must say I have seen some amazing deals at New Enough and also LeatherUp but so far, no boots for an extra wide foot... or for that matter no boots under 120 bucks. ( yeah, I'm cheap) However, I'm about to snag these ( see link below ) till I find something more "special" <G> http://www.sportsmansguide.com/net/cb/mens-worx-steel-toe-duty-boots-black.aspx?a=614067

Footnote... I sent in a pic and a " I like it" note and got a give certif back from NewEnough. 8 bucks after I sent one in for the blue jacket and a pair of gloves, and 10 for the black leather SuperHawk pic. Hey, in the age of quick digital pics... it's worth the time to tell them if you like it... cuz they're gonna have something else you HAVE to have ! <G>

Bought one yesterday. Spending money on motorcycle stuff is a touch subject around here and I figure it cost me $39.99 plus $11.19 shipping plus about 1/2 day grief when it arrives Tuesday.

Lew, I hear you on that one. I just came off 6 weeks of parental leave and was doing all kinds of online shopping. Wife is freaking out now cause things are starting to show up... to the point I can't remember what I ordered and how many more are coming! :)

Add a new mom with raging hormones and a husband who spent too much money=Husband sleeping in the shed. Just remember this, she will get over it eventually. Congrats on the new baby!

Same boat here. "But hon, it's only $39.99....." BTW my wife is 7mos pregnant, so i'm ALL too familiar with raging hormones.
