Not sure what I would make the thread about??....but perhaps the need for NH-S parts!
I have quite a few of the 700-S bikes and have been trying to find new sources for parts for them. I recently lost all my NH-S parts in a HUGE house fire (as well as everything else we own), and am trying to find some mint used and/or NOS parts for some of the bikes I was working on before the fire.
I believe I am going to have to sell some of my 700-S collection, as the fire has left us in a terrible situation (no insurance), and we are trying to re-build right now.
If anyone has any NOS stuff, please let me know. You are also welcome to call me at: 216-382-8965 (after 1:00pm eastern)

Wow, I'm sorry to hear that.
Not sure if it's smart to put your phone nr. on a public internet site though. If someone wants to contact you they can always IM you.
Good luck with your situation anyway, I hope things get better for you soon!

I paid 1900 USD for an 85 Nighthawk S with almost 18k miles. It's kinda beat up, a little rust marks here and there. I had to get a new front tire immediately, get the clutch bled, got a new battery, and a second key. It still needs cosmetic work, but it works for what I need it right now and you know what?
Ultimately, its mine!
It had some serious get up and go the first time I rode that bad boy down the I-77 to Charlotte. It was also my first ride on a motorcycle down the interstate. Scary, fun, exhilarating, and just plain cool.
The Nighthawk S replaces a 1981 Honda C70 Passport "Dayhawk" (the nickname I gave it since I was too young to buy a Honda Nighthawk at the time) moped I once owned and was stolen from my backyard. (I bought it for 99$ in 1995 with 600 miles on it, a super steal at a pawnshop!)

Looks great definitely the best Nighthawk ever i love mine. Corbin seat is worth the money if you are thinking about any mods. Got mine on ebay for $100 if you are patient.

Actually I was thinking about getting a Corbin, is it really worth the money? What's the longest you have ridden? What are the chances of getting a close-up pic?

Yeah it is a much better seat and worth it for sure. But like I said if you are patient they come up on EBay every once in a while. My longest seat time on it is about 3 hours. No problems with my but getting tired more my wrists and hands, haha.
