If anyone is looking for one (or two). The '84 is really high priced though:

Is it me, or is the red one missing the decals on the side covers and rear section? Also, the fairing looks a little beat up.

The RWB one... The seller is on crack if he thinks he will get that much for it.

They wouldn't be bad finds if the asking prices weren't so high.

Its weird to see the RWB paint on an 1984.  That would drive purists bonkers, and I think I lean that way.

Also,on the '86, why do you guys think the decals are missing towards the rear of the bike?  Based on the supposed very little use and long storage I would imagine all that stuff should be present, if not pristine.

Had one just like it for a year - put 6000 miles on it.  Just sold it.

Pardon my ignorance hppants,
I think that bottom fairing looks nice on the 700s, but aside from looks, is it functional?  Does it have a benefit other than cosmetic?

And by the way, whats the actual name of that part?

It's only cosmetic - but it looks bada$$.

I've heard it called a Chin Fairing, Belly Pan, Lower Fairing, and SOQS magnet.

OK - I made the last one up.

Hey Hp, I see you had after market blinks on the RWB. Have any front and aft shots of them.. I may go that root on the 85.

Here's a couple of shots, but be forewarned - these stalks are completely useless.  Unless you are 20 feet or closer, you simply cannot see them.  I got into the habit of hand signals over this.  Someone on NHF did a thread on LED bulb replacement - I contacted the vendor and determined they made bulbs for these stalks - $20.00 a piece!!

The stock turn signals on my 750 are much nicer.

You should make a big picture of the second shot from front/right side. Good looking bike.

I have the little dudes on the back now, I had them all the way around my DRZ. Replaced with OEM parts. They do look cool but for safety I must go back to stock on the back.  Looking like a parts bike purchase tomorrow night  thumb
