The sissy bar isnt bad of a disconnect, four bolts is all. I could take mine off in 10 min.  Not a SUPER DOOPER fast disconnect, but not a rip the bike to pieces either.

Ya, when the wife wants to ride, bolt it up a few minutes before going out.. but for QUICK disconnect, my parents have a seat that literally takes 10 seconds. Go figure it's for a Harley but still..

i have sunday monday and tuesday's off. you tell me when and i will head over, im always looking for a good ride, and you said you had some nice roads on this side of the river..so i can meet you and you can show me some good roads.  just tell me when, i can also give ya my personal cell if you would prefer. goes for anyone on here and if your in the des moines area and something happens...im game to help. i know my father also wouldnt care if his garage was used for repairs. he is on the bmw moa site to be called if anyone breaks down.

We usually ride on sunday mornings as well. Unforutnately (or maybe not so unfortunately  ) I'm camping this w/e up in Ponca state park west of Sioux City but we should definitely hook up sometime before it gets too cold.  I'll PM you my cell # and we'll get something scheduled.
