Was out of riding for 15 yrs but I wanted to relive the old days. My main squeeze was a 1981 750K but I sold it in '95... banghead Bought this baby last fall and worked on it all summer. It was in great shape but too forever to warm up, then if you shut it off for 5 min it took forever to warm up all over again.  I'd had my 81 torn apart and modded the carbs and exhaust back then so I figured I could get this 93 running right.  The main problem was the airbox was cracked ALL THE WY AROUND where both connections come out and go into back of carbs. Half a tube of RTV later and the main problem was solved.  Mods I did this summer:

installed centerstand
put new gasket on valve cover
changed both tires
pulled carbs
patched entire airbox
replaced throttle cables
raised carb needles
added crashbars
added Honda backrest
drilled baffles for air flow
changed to Progressive front and rear springs
extended mirrors
installed Plexifaring (had 1 on my 81)

You guys and the mod pages were all a great help and I really appreciate it.  Due to health problems I can't do long trips anymore but driving to work and an hour on weekends are still a blast!

Good looking bike.   How easy was it to mount the clear faring.  Did you have to modify mounts?    thumb

Hi Yorgi  wave
Nice looking 750.

Did you find the washer mod and drilled baffles made a difference?

p.s. I hate the Penguins  poke
(I'm a Senators fan).

Nice lookin ride!!
Windshield on my 95 is smaller but your bike looks like mine.
Well yours looks better all clean and shiney.
Mine had sit out under a Poll Barn for 14 months before I got it.
She has some rust here and there, and it sits out at night at work.
The salt air at night doesn't help.

Welcome to the group - ride safe.

I have a sissy bar on my bike with a similar piece of luggage.  Looks like your hard work really paid off.
